Institute of Adult Education Tabasco (IEAT)The Institute of Adult Education Tabasco (IEAT), provides young people and adults who want to start, continue or complete their education and even basic high school distance education alternatives to the forefront through the 59 Community Plazas, distributed in 17 municipalities in the state where services are offered free, supported by new technologies and highly trained staff.

As head of adult basic education, the agency that runs Gerardo A. Barbate Pint ado, boosts the functioning of these spaces, with support from three levels of government, where people can generally use other facilities such as introduction to the Internet, academic research, basic computer courses, craft workshops, reading circles, physical activation, films and others. Similarly, the IEAT is a pioneer among colleges and adult education delegations from the country to provide online baccalaureate service in Community Places, thanks to the Cooperation Agreement signed with Mexico School of Bachelors, a strategy that regained National Institute for Adult Education (INEA), opening this option to advisers and students who complete their studies in these areas, giving them a scholarship.

TRAINING, REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH QUALITY SERVICES.

A clear example of these areas in the state, is the Plaza Communitarian “Tito Livid”, located in the township of Comalcalco, where Veronica Garcia Candlestick, promoter of it, inviting people to take advantage of literacy, primary and secondary either in writing or through the computer, the application of the Model Education for Life and Work (Melvyn) in virtual mode and online with the confidence that they will be staffed by trained counselors.

Proof of this is the professionalism with which the adviser Erika Lorena Ramirez Torres, Law graduate, who for 12 years has guided the knowledge of dozens of young and adults, enabling great experiences to treasure and who-said-he continues to prepare with diplomas currently offered by the IEAT advisers, on the axes of Language and Communication, Mathematics and Pedagogical Practices, with which strengthen its teaching, knowledge and communicative relationships with their students.

“Today I have five students in the initial level, i.e. literacy, 20 intermediate and 20 advanced primary or secondary school in the mornings working in an office, while Tuesday and Thursday evenings provides advice to two groups, there Melvyn taught them the virtual, how to use the computer, the Internet is a great experience, “said the young age of 30.

In a similar situation is Mrs. Alma Magana Lorena Falcon, 47 years old. She studied high school online and actively participating as president of Social Committee, which is a strategy by the IEAT for transparent application of resources in Community Places, so that the community monitor the operation and care of them.

That’s how the IEAT Community Plazas, where you can also find young people like José Andrés Rodriguez Sanchez Gomez and Edgar Portillo, both 15 years of age, first learn to read and write, while the second takes advantage of the workshop computer.
